As long as O'Hara is ready for the regular season, which he is expected to be, I will remain hopeful. If there's anything that the Giants' miraculous run a few years ago taught, it's that keeping the faith never hurts. Although realistically I don't see the Giants winning more than 1 game in the playoffs.

I'm worried about the depth of the line. Everyone should be healthy for the regular season, but this year the Giants offensive line depth is weaker than in past years. I think the defensive run stopping will be cured with a new coordinator and a healthy middle linebacker. Special teams is definitely a worry, however, especially as you mentioned with a new punter.

The reason I'm so optimistic is because this team resembles the 12-4 team from two seasons ago and the Super Bowl team in a lot of ways. If we can stay healthy, I'm pretty excited.

Giants to go 10-6? I think that is mighty generous for the following reasons ---

1. The offensive line has suddenly gotten old and fragile. I wonder if O'Hara, McKenzie, and Seubert can bounce back from being riddled by injuries.

2. Although adding good defensive players, especially Bulluck and Rolle, I shudder at the fact that the G-men can be run on. The pass rush should be fine.

3. The special teams is a question mark with a new punter. I'm not sure about the return teams either.

I hope you gents are right about 10-6. I would be thrilled to see the Giants in the playoffs!
